The non-stop Bible Reading Marathon at the Transitional Cathedral started at 5pm on the 26th of December, 2017 and concluded on the 30th of December, 2017. The youngest readers were 10-12 years old. 10years (Esther from Amberley), 11 years (Timothy and Dorothy from Christchurch Chinese Church), 12 years (Oliver from Amberley) and after 83 hours and 11 minutes of non-stop reading in English, Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, Telugu, Arabic, French, German, and Bahasa Malaya came to an end with the blowing of the shofar by Daniel Morgan.
